James Irby is a Digital Preservation Technician at the Georgia Archives, assisting the development and implementation of plans, policies and procedures for digitization of analog holdings. James previously worked as a Program Associate on the Intergovernmental Preparedness for Essential Records (IPER) project, a disaster preparedness and records management training program sponsored by the Council of State Archivists under a Cooperative Agreement with the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
