Dr. Malachy McCarthy is the Province Archivist for the Claretian Missionaries Archives since 2003. The archives is part of the Chicago Archive Collaborative which houses two other archive repositories. His primary focus has been to make the Claretian collection accessible. Interested in education, Malachy taught archive courses on the undergraduate and professional level. The Workshop for Religious Communities has been offered biennially since 2007, He is interested in applying current best practices in small collections.
