Lisa Calahan is Archivist for the Black Metropolis Research Consortium (BMRC), and has worked on two significant grant-funded projects for the BMRC. She is currently Project Director of the BMRC’s Color Curtain Processing Project and is responsible for coordinating the processing of over 100 archival collections related to African American History in the Chicago area. Lisa is an active member of the Society of American Archivists and the Chicago Area Archivists. She holds an MA in Public History from Loyola University, Chicago and an MLIS from Dominican University.
