607 - I Think You're Projecting: Improving Understanding of Moving Image Archives Users

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Although moving image collections represent some of the most compelling content within our repositories, we have a limited understanding of how these collections are discovered, engaged with, and used. Practitioners discuss efforts to better understand user needs and behaviors as well as innovative patron-oriented methods for promoting engagement including empirical research on the needs of filmmakers and user-generated description, tools for describing and presenting video, and an award-winning documentary.
