Collection Services Librarian
Ann Arbor, MI
As the Collection Services Librarian for the Special Collections Research Center at the University of Michigan, I oversee and coordinate the accessioning, arrangement, description, and management of Special Collections material in all formats and across all collecting areas. I enjoy investigating innovative techniques and technologies to ensure that we can make our material available to researchers quickly and efficiently, and am currently the department's point person for ArchivesSpace.
Within SAA I have served as chair of the Students and New Archives Professionals Section, and am currently on the steering committee for the Collection Management Tools Section.
Prior to working at Michigan, I was the Rio Grande Historical Collections Archivist at New Mexico State University. I have an MLS and MA from the University of Maryland, and a BA from Grinnell College.
